While we have the gift of life, it seems to me the only tragedy is to allow part of us to die- whether it is our spirit, our creativity or our glorious uniqueness.
-Gilda Radner
I live and work in East Tennessee in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.I find solace and peace in the beauty of the natural world and connection with the outdoors. My work is inspired by natural elements and the pallet of the earth.
I believe creativity is part of what makes us human. Whether through art, craft, music, writing, or building something with our hands, the act of making allows us to connect with purpose and express something uniquely human.
In my professional life, I work as a mental health therapist and value the healing that happens through genuine human connection. My work is guided by a commitment to the health, safety, dignity, and autonomy of all people. Iām passionate about helping people reconnect with their authentic selves and discover what brings meaning and joy to their lives.
Through my art, I hope to reflect the beauty I see in the world and the values that guide my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my creativity, and I hope my work inspires others to explore their own passions and create something meaningful of their own.
